SECRETARIAT

Laura Fortin – Secretary General

Hey! My name is Laura, and I am currently enrolled in the Law and Civilization program at Champlain College. I first discovered my passion for Model UN while attending SSUNS in 2023. Since then, my love for debate and public speaking has been a constant source of motivation throughout my MUN journey. I have found my place within the chaos of Crisis committees, where the unexpected is always around the corner.

Outside of MUN, I enjoy reading, playing video games, and tackling overly complex baking projects, always ready for a new challenge. It is this same desire to challenge myself, paired with my enthusiasm for Model UN, that has led me to my current role as Secretary-General of CCMUN for 2025.

Alexandre Stracuzzi – President

Outside of Model UN, I’m deeply committed to martial arts and love staying active, whether that’s hitting the gym, going for a run, or just diving into history books.

CCMUN 2025 is shaping up to be an incredible conference! I can’t wait to be a part of it with all of you.

Sarah N. Faye – External Vice President

Hello! My name is Sarah, and I am beyond thrilled to be serving as USG of Public Relations for CCMUN 2025! I am currently in my third semester studying Social Sciences, in the International Studies profile. The world of diplomacy has always fascinated me, and that is what fueled me to join MUN in my first semester. From my first-ever conference (which was CCMUN by the way!) to now, I have developed my public speaking skills, while also forging lifelong friendships with other delegates.

Outside of MUN, I work as a lifeguard and swimming instructor, which combines my love of swimming with the satisfaction of helping others improve their skills.

I look forward to meeting you all!

Outside of MUN, I love listening to music (I could not live without Spotify), and I also work as a lifeguard and swimming instructor, which combines my love of swimming with the satisfaction of helping others improve their skills. I look forward to meeting you all 🙂

Iaroslav Brailean – Internal Vice President

Salutations, my name is Iaroslav, and I am a second-year student in the International Studies profile. I am delighted to be your USG of Logistics for this conference! Joining the college’s Model UN team and attending a multitude of conferences (including CCMUN 2024) has forced me to step out of my comfort zone, improving my public speaking skills. However, the connections and friendships I have made are what I cherish most, as they last for a lifetime.

Speaking of life, outside of MUN, I am a lifeguard and enjoy swimming, so you’ll probably find me by a pool. Otherwise, I enjoy experiencing new cultures by trying out different foods.

Looking forward to seeing all of you in action!

Olivia Falco – Treasurer

Hi! I’m Olivia, and I am studying Social Science at Champlain College. I will be serving as your USG of Finance for this conference! I got involved in the Model United Nations club in my first semester of CEGEP, and have dedicated myself to it ever since, from participating in exciting debates, to now becoming treasurer of CCMUN. More importantly, I have met amazing people and made lifelong friends.

Outside of MUN, I’m quite passionate about literature, mathematics and history. I’ll often spend my free time reading any and all books I can find. I also enjoy traveling and visiting historical cities.

Looking forward to seeing you at the conference!

Louis-Philippe Dallaire – USG of Internal Coordination

Dobrý den! My name is Louis-Philippe, and I’m currently a second year honour student, enrolled in International Studies at Champlain College. My MUN journey started in 2024 through a project on the Security Council and since I have long had a fascination for geopolitics, conflicts and diplomacy, MUN was right up my alley. My first conference was McMUN 2025, which was awfully fun, and through the connections I made there, my whole CEGEP experience has gotten better. As for CCMUN 2025, I’ll be your USG of Internal Coordination.

Outside of MUN, I absolutely love Jazz, travelling, cooking, cycling, doing research and learning new languages. Oh and also I’m Czech!

Chloé Zaccabri – Director of Equity

Hi! My name Chloé and I am in my last year at Champlain college in the Law & Civilization program. I first joined Model UN in my first semester at school because of my interest in international relations and politics, which I got from my father.

Outside of Model UN, I deeply enjoy volunteering, baking and traveling. My interest in volunteering is also the main reason why I became the president of MedLife at school, as I am very devoted to helping communities in need.

Can’t wait to see you in action!

Myriam Navert – Director of Events

Hi! My name is Myriam, and I’m so honored to be your Director of Events for the upcoming CCMUN 2025 conference! I’m currently in my second year at Champlain in the Psychology program, as well as in my second year of Model UN. Over the past year, I’ve taken part in a number of specialized agencies, as well as general assemblies alongside many members of this executive team.

Outside of MUN, I love exploring classic literature, Shakespearean theatre, and a wide range of musical plays. I’m truly excited for this conference and hope you’ll all have as amazing a time as I do every day with the Champlain Model UN team!

See you this fall!

Mavi Kallianiotis – USG of Training

Hey! My name is Mavi, and I am in the Law and Civilization program at Champlain College. I joined the Model UN circuit in November 2023, where I discovered the wonders of debate and diplomacy. During my first year as a delegate, I participated in all types of committees. However, I developed a particular passion for specialized agencies.

While MUN is a significant part of my life, I am also a member of the Champlain Cavaliers Flag Football team. Consequently, I can often be found at school, whether studying, practicing, or spending time with my friends.

I can’t wait to meet you all!
