OUR CONFERENCE
The annual CCMUN conference is returning yet again! Known as a beginner-friendly conference, it is designed to introduce new delegates entering the circuit to the MUN experience with enticing committees to spark passionate debate.
This year’s CCMUN edition will include four committees: your traditional General Assembly, Specialized Agency, and Crisis committees, as well as an advanced Crisis committee, tailored for more experienced delegates.
The Champlain College Model United Nations Club’s secretariat would like to acknowledge the land on which they are hosting the CCMUN 2025 conference. The Champlain College campus is located on Indigenous land that has, for centuries, served as residency, trading, meeting as well as cultural and spiritual grounds. The executive team and entire staff of CCMUN respect, honour, and support this land and the people to whom it belongs, the Haudenosaunee and Mohawk. We strongly encourage all participants to visit https://native-land.ca/, which provides information on Indigenous lands and communities, as well as https://www.haudenosauneeconfederacy.com/ and https://mbq-tmt.org/ to learn more about the Haudenosaunee and Mohawk Indigenous communities.

EQUITY AT CCMUN 2025
Dear Delegates,
Welcome to CCMUN 2025, a conference in which diplomacy is met with respect and every voice is heard. The secretariat has at heart the goal of building a safe space for debate, that is inclusive and equitable for everyone.
All delegates from all backgrounds shall feel welcome and empowered to speak freely and participate without worry. We, as a delegation, celebrate the differences across cultures, gender, race, religion, ability, lived experiences and overall identity, as we believe these differences are what make us human. They are our biggest strength and what makes model UN so much more enriching.
Equity at CCMUN means more than equal access. It means removing barriers, creating a safe space and working continuously to ensure that every individual is seen, supported, and most of all respected in their identity.
Your secretariat acknowledges that Model United Nations are more than simple simulations; they are a student’s first step into real-world diplomacy. Keeping that in mind, we are committed to upholding the values of justice, equity and mutual understanding, whether in or out of debate and in the way we interact with others.
We are glad you’re here and we can’t wait to hear your voice!
