Alexandre Stracuzzi – President 2025-2026

Alexandre is currently pursuing a combined law and MBA program at Sherbrooke University. Outside of his studies, he is most passionate about both history and fitness.

Olivia Falco – Treasurer 2025-2026

Olivia is currently majoring in Education at McGill, previously studying General Social Sciences (with Math!) at Champlain. In her free time, Olivia enjoys reading, and has a penchant for picking up any book she comes across. She fondly remembers her time at CCMUN, a place where she got to explore various interests, make lifelong connections, and meet some truly unforgettable people.

Iaroslav Brailean – Vice-President of Internal Affairs 2025-2026

Iaro is currently majoring at McGill University in International Development Studies. When not studying or working by the poolside, he enjoys trying out new food places and easily gets lost in historical documentaries.

Sarah Niakar Faye – Vice-President of External Affairs 2025-2026

Sarah is currently pursuing an International Development Studies major and a Philosophy minor at McGill University. Outside of academics, she can usually be found staying active by a pool or discovering new music. If you spot her without headphones on, consider yourself lucky! And don’t hesitate to ask for a music recommendation.

Outside of MUN, I love listening to music (I could not live without Spotify), and I also work as a lifeguard and swimming instructor, which combines my love of swimming with the satisfaction of helping others improve their skills. I look forward to meeting you all 🙂 

Luca Novac – President 2024-2025

Luca is currently pursuing Finances at McGill, aiming to get into the Honours in Investment Management program. He prefers spending his time staying active, hiking, listening to jazz and working towards his academic goals.

Peter K. – Vice-President 2023-2024 / Secretary-General 2024. 

Peter is currently studying to become a software engineer at ETS with focus on cybersecurity. When he is not studying, he can be found reading financial or fantasy books, learning about recent political events, and unearthing his next lucrative business endeavour. 

Sarra Khaireddine – Treasurer 2023-2025

Sarra is currently a student at McGill, double majoring in International Development and Political Science. In her free time, she enjoys watching films, hanging out with friends and family and loves trying out new cafés and restaurants.

Matéo Àlvarez – President 2023-2024

Mateo is currently pursuing his passion for Psychology at McGill University, completing a Bachelor of Arts. Additionally, he loves to spend his free time listening to countless hours of music, watching shows or actively looking for new hobbie

Penelope Rose – Secretary-General 2023 

Penelope is currently studying Anthropology at McGill University and is an avid enjoyer of history and literature. Her preferences lie in historical and fantastical committees that mirror her “out-of-mun” favourites. When she is not thinking about MUN or school you can always find her collecting more books from her home library or watching scary movies. 

Théa-Maria El-Moutran – President 2022-2023.  

Théa is currently studying Law at Sherbrooke University in a dual program (BCL/JD) including common law. Besides her academic activities, she is found either playing the piano, listening to music, or watching one of her favourite movies.

Gabrielle Starenkyj Perron – Secretary-General 2022

Gabrielle is currently studying Law at Sherbrooke University in a dual program (BCL and JD). When she is not running around and working on several projects at the same time, she can be found enjoying a good book and coffee. 

Emma Johnston – Treasurer 2022-2023

Emma is currently completing her Bachelor of Arts degree in Environment at McGill University. She strives to influence and improve public policy on environmental matters. Moreover, she loves to spend quality time with friends and family and likes to paint whenever she can. 

Yvanessa Veillard – Vice President 2022-2023

Yvanessa is currently studying Law at the University of Ottawa. She is an active member of the youth liberal wing. She has also worked as a political attachée for the Westmount-Saint-Louis riding.  She enjoys reading, cooking and snowboarding in her free time.

Nicolas Thomas – Vice President Winter 2022

Nicolas is currently majoring in Urban Studies and minoring in Political Science at McGill University. A big socialite, Nicolas enjoys spending time with his family and friends playing video and board games. 

Rosalie Gauthier – Secretary-General 2021

Rosalie is currently studying Law at Université de Montréal. When not working or studying, she likes walking around pretty neighborhoods and watching comedy shows/movies.

Ester Gitto – President 2021-2022

Ester is finishing up her Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design in Rome. She recently showcased her work in her university’s fashion show and is now looking for opportunities to grow and contribute to the fashion industry.
