
UN SDG 6: Access to Clean Water

CCMUN 2026’s General Assembly will be UN SDG 6: Access to Clean Water.
The core mission of the United Nations SDG 6 goal on universal access to safe drinking water, adequate sanitation, hygiene, and the protection of water-related ecosystems. Billions of people are still living without safely managed water and sanitation. Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6 is to ensure the availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all by 2030. Achieving SDG 6 is integral to the success of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which aims to end extreme poverty and protect the planet.
Delegates will examine current frameworks and practices while working to develop sustainable and ethical solutions that ensure all countries, regardless of size or economic status, can participate in shaping a more responsible future for the industry.
This beginner-friendly committee will encourage delegates to strengthen their diplomacy and problem-solving skills as they collaborate to address one of the most pressing labour and environmental issues of our time.
UN SDG 6: Access to Clean Water, will be consisting of two co-chairs.
