Our executive team takes on the role of conference secretariat during the CCMUN annual conference.  As a secretariat, it assures the smooth running of the CCMUN conference, with extensive organization and management. As club executives, the team is proud to represent the delegation and to move it forward in its endeavors. Every day, it strives to guide its delegates in reaching their full potential.

President

Luca Novac

Luca is in the Pure & Applied Science program at Champlain College. Embarking on his Model UN journey at the 5th iteration of the CCMUN conference, his enthusiasm for international affairs blossomed, propelling him to pursue the presidency for the 2024-2025 term. Passionate about astrophysics, he plans to pursue a career in the field and ultimately work with the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA). Away from textbooks and lectures, Luca immerses himself in music production, watching movies and spending way too much money on clothes.

Secretary General

Peter K.

Peter is in the Math and Computer Science program at Champlain College, and served as the Vice President of CCMUN 2023-2024. With a passion for voicing his opinion and a track record as an avid debater, Peter thrives in the world of Model United Nations. This is reflected in his choice to pursue the role of Secretary General for 2024-2025. His preference for quick action and fast-paced debates is exemplified through his enthusiasm for crisis committees. Peter’s remarkable ability to remain composed in chaotic and stressful situations sets him apart as an outstanding crisis delegate. Given these traits, Peter sought out the role of Vice President when the opportunity presented itself. You can find him reading a book, fantasy or fiction, learning about recent political events, local or global, or checkmating his opponent's king in a game of chess when he’s not busy sending notes to the backroom of a crisis committee.

Vice-President

Mavi Kallianiotis

Mavi is in the Law and Civilisation program at Champlain College. She joined the Model UN circuit in November 2023, where she discovered the wonders of debate and diplomacy. During her first year as a delegate, Mavi participated in general assemblies, special agencies, and crisis committees. However, she developed a particular passion for special agencies. Mavi is a passionate, charismatic, and determined individual, which inspired her to run for Vice-President of the 2024/2025 CCMUN. While MUN is a significant part of her life, Mavi is also a member of the Champlain Cavaliers Flag Football team. As a result, she can often be found at school, whether studying, practicing, or spending time with her friends.

Treasurer

Sarra Khaireddine

Sarra is a student in Commerce and serves as the treasurer of Champlain's Model UN club. Her journey into Model UN began with CCMUN 2022 and expanded as she attended more conferences over time. She enjoys being part of bigger crowds, which is why the General Assembly appeals to her. It offers both a large audience and addresses important issues that matter to her. Outside of Model UN, Sarra works as a swim coach for children, which has opened her heart to the world around her. In her free time, she finds joy in watching good films, spending time with friends, and going shopping.
